It’s all a matter of momentum isn’t it? It would be nice if the creative community all settle in one place… It’s still hard to beat social media platforms for creating connections, but I wish the tech bros would stop ruining all the good things!

I’m not sure I can bring myself to zap Instagram as it’s a pretty effective portfolio… I’ve definitely stepped back from it hugely in the last year however. The showcase style suits me better than a text-based platform. EURGH. I hate being beholden to the tech overlords.

I heard this too! There’s definitely a need for a “showcase” style platform vs chatty stream-of-consciousness now that Instagram has gone loopy… but it’s so hard to muster the energy all over again knowing they all ultimately follow the same trajectory towards shitness in the end… 😭
