This conference has been timely in that I needed to be empowered. My cup is filled and I'm going home tomorrow inspired but aware that we have a lot of work to do in Ireland and that we are miles behind the UK #BIGSPD25

remind me that there are people like me who are fighting to make the mental health services a nicer and safer place to navigate. There are people who are disrupting the status quo every day in their work.

It can be disempowering to be a mental health advocate. It can be a lonely place to share your personal experience of mental health. But conferences like #BIGSPD25

I am so proud of my niece and her Donegal team, who won their all Ireland shield final in Kilkenny on Sunday, beating Limerick 2-0. She even got joint player of the match. #Speirgorm

Just back from indoor football -15 women all aged 30+ kicking around a football on a Thursday night. Best way to blow off steam! Highly recommend it.

My heart is sore for the families who lost two young men in a car crash in West Donegal last night. I pray that those who are injured make a full recovery.

Today, I organised a wellbeing day for the U12s I coach at Dunfanaghy Youths. We had some icebreaker games, yoga, talks from the FAI on nutrition, recovery, and staying in sport and finished up the day with a few matches and a penalty shootout. Good for body, good for mind.
