A - Great character, she feels like an actual person. I still remember getting all enamoured with her and then she broke my heart because she's straight. 😅 But, I respect that, feels weird when everyone's playersexual.
"For more than an hour, several employees said, [Amazon] workers in the facility were instructed to continue fetching totes, picking items off shelves and loading them onto trucks for delivery as the man lay dead"
Text reminding readers of the interconnectedness of life on Earth, describing communication among trees, octopuses, whales, elephants, bees, crows, ants, cats, and forests.
Yes. 🫶 🌍
It's the warmest spring I can remember, made warmer by a lovely Sunday combining church service & poetry, shared time and beauty..
I see myself mainly as an interfaith mystic, begging the question "am I enough?", but I leave that question be for now. Wrapped up the day with a long walk in the sun.
It's poetry days in Åbo, I've thoroughly enjoyed the events so far. At the end of the day a certain emptiness follows me home - what now, when next?
I open the balcony door and put some indoor plants outside into the sun. Then I place myself in the sunrays too. Birdsong and the hum of distant cars.
Reminder that in this house we do not trash other genres of books to support the genre we like the most. One, come on, we're grown ups. Two, the bottom line is people reading and loving books. Three, every writer you know has friends working other genres, don't trash their friends, thanks.

Ink and watercolor illustration of honey bees flying toward and collecting pollen from vibrant pink and yellow flowers. The pollen coming off the bees looks like magical sparkles. The Everyday Witch's Familiars Oracle - art by Elisabeth Alba, written by Deborah Blake, published by Llewellyn.

This is the 'productivity' card from the deck. It reminds me that I can soon get busy with all of my spring garden projects! I'm so excited to get outside again!

Have a fabulous Easter Sunday everyone. Photo taken this morning in Glastonbury, shortly after sunrise.
A picture taken before the concert. On the stage is some sort of massive cello or bass. An absolute chonk of an instrument.
Went to a concert on Thursday. Mozart's Requiem by the #Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, singers, choir. It was incredible! Very moving, very emotional. I'm no classical expert but this was easily enjoyable. What a way to start Easter!
A soft plush bee named Skogsduva at IKEA, 4,99 eur.
At IKEA with my sister. I desperately want a bee! 😟

Misty photo from the humidifier being on. Two small cabbages have sprouted, making the woodland strawberry plant look enormous in comparison.
Two young cabbage sproutlings in focus, they have two leaves and more will come soon. In the background is a woodland strawberry plant.
The cabbage seeds sprouted 1 week ago. Another week later they've already grown bigger, soon they're getting more leaves! Growing them mainly indoors until it gets a lil warmer. #balconygarden 🌱
The start screen image in the Pomodoro farming game Paca Pomo. There's a girl with braids holding the leash to a happy alpaca.
Executive dysfunction day. Can't get started even though I want to.
Paca Pomo is a pomodoro farm game, free on Steam. Putting it to 10 min at a time, tricking the brain into committing to work.
Chaos rules - yes to what brain wants to do, as long as it's "work". Fold 4 socks, move on, fine.

Photo of my hand holding up an acrylic painting of an angel sitting while hugging their knees under a pale, dead tree in a sloped meadow of soft purple flowers. A few other trees full of dark greenery stand in the distance, contrasted against a blue sky with soft clouds
Spirit of a Great Tree original painting is live, and goes until Friday March 27th, 7.30pm CET!
Shares are so, so appreciated 💛💛

The pale sliver of the new moon on a pale evening sky that goes from a lightly violet blue to pink and orange. Half the picture is dominated by the dark silhouette of a building and some trees.
The early night sky, still showing some lightness at the bottom where the sunset just happened. The new moon is now clearly visible and directly below and a little to the left there's a light seen through the tree branches, that's Venus.
The lovely new moon. As it gets darker we can also see Venus tagging along, hiding in the trees.
In the Sierra Nevada in California. Lush grass and brush gives way to a blue lake surrounded by stone snow capped mountains.

C - Dwarf feels most like me. Being short can be a bit tiring, though, so it was a relief to be a tall Qunari in DAI and I'd love to play as Qunari more, but if ya gotta make me choose.. 😅
