The inspiration for this purple cutie came from late 90's sci-fi satire Galaxy Quest.

A movie I avoided for years, since I didn't think Tim Allen would be entertaining. But he does a great job being a William Shatner parody.

The nøkk are male water spirits, who played enchanted songs on the violin, with which they lured men, women and children to drown in lakes or streams. They weren’t always malevolent, but I like to imagine them at the very least as mischievous ✨
