Exciting to see this comment piece written by myself and @victoriabates.bsky.social out in the British Journal of Healthcare Management! Unfortunately it is paywalled but hopefully there will be more on this subject coming from us in the future... #MultispeciesHospital

So, uh, I'm the co-editor on this tome and not @rothiotome.bsky.social. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 But if you say my name in a Spanish accent and really fast it does sound like her handle.

Clare's chapter with @draflint.bsky.social is fantastic! Once your library has a copy, you'll be able to read it too! 😉

Wooooo! I can’t believe we did this, it’s huge! It’s been such a wonderful experience, I’ve learned so much from all authors and co-editors @historyrocio.bsky.social & Amber. Thanks to everyone who made this happen. (But yes, pls ask libraries to buy this or subscribe online to handbooks, it’s £££)

The restoration of Notre Dame cathedral is just spectacular. It took my breath away. The colours! The stonework! The ceilings!

Whee acceptance for #SSHM26 (Society for the Social History of Medicine) conference. This is my year of hanging out in Leeds, which would be great if it weren't for Cross Country Rail. ANYWAY looking forward to it; it has a brilliant programme - happy to see familiar names among lots of new ones!

I've been quoting Chris's brilliant "Using personal experience in academic medical humanities" (2020) widely, and will be quoting this even more. I did MSbP research when working on crime/abuse history, & can confirm Chris's work is in a different league to anything out there (inc. mine). Read it!

Damn, sorry. The flip side of this is, if it's a new and somewhat stealth publication, the application's reviewers also might also not know about it!

Aha! 'Romance' is probably pushing it, though I would say it's at least in some part about love. I will try Private Rites!
