This shot taken in the late 70s whilst at photography college in Wednesbury, West Midlands, UK. The mood of a foggy, damp, winters evening, embracing every bit of film grain!

Starting young.

Hands are complex pieces of human engineering. The dexterity we develop with them enables us to shape and contort them in many ways. Unlike medical illustration photography, I document the shape, texture, structure, undulations and imperfections developed through aging of one pair of hands.
