I think Jack Dorsey is a well known introspector? 2 hours of meditation each morning.

I was told by someone who visited him that his house contains a kitchen table and chairs and single house plant. That’s it.

I don’t want to become a billionaire so am happily lying on a sofa đŸ›‹ïž

Coming to terms with how your state might not be as exceptional and irreplaceable as you think can actually be quite a healthy trend for a society.

Maybe because for the writers I know, it’s more of a mental health exercise than anything else 😅

The undertow Women don't avoid sovereign hobbies by accident; they get pulled back before they ever reach the water

Great analysis of unspoken patriarchal pressures on women and the gendered view of hobbies in western society on Astrid's substack.

Noticed the other day the staff at Woolworths were clearing all the expired stock and there was a lot of it.
I wonder if shoppers have realised that the meat is processed and packaged in Wiri and shipped all around the country wasting fuel
Thats what happens when you get rid on the inhouse butchers

We all need to stand up, like Georgina Beyer did, and call this disgusting behaviour out!

It’s a disgrace that this bill has been pulled, when nearly 30 years ago we were being praised for electing the first Transgender as an MP

I am speaking tomorrow at 8am on the proposed Merger of NZ The Ministry for the Environment with cities and transport and regions- a merger proposed by a coalition government that, if I can be frank, seems to be barely holding itself together right now let alone embarking on reckless restructuring

When Covid first happened my friend and I started zoom cooking where we would pick a recipe and cook together on video call and chat. We were both in America in different states and we still do it. Making a chicken dish tomorrow morning with her in Virginia. Wild to think we are entering year 7.

Would be cool to do a multiplayer community vibe game, where you’ve got a little village and you’ve got to setup a scavenging system to get off planet before something bad happens.

You get to choose a ship to fix from a bunch of ancient crashed relics etc

Distant conflict, local crisis: is this oil shock the wake-up call NZ needed? As prices surge, the Middle East crisis highlights New Zealand’s exposure to global oil – and the need to accelerate more resilient alternatives.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are particularly vulnerable: their short shelf life leaves no slack to absorb sudden increases in freight costs. Treasury has modelled a scenario in which inflation hits 3.2% by June.
