Surviving week one of being a #professor...
Question: How do people get any #research done?
I feel like I need to get an assistant to start answering my emails and filling out forms. Do I need to invest in cloning #technology?

I’ve done a very through analysis of salty drift and the root cause, and I have thoughts…
Yes to more evaluation.
It’s totally a sensor issue.
The trends are real.
And there’s a lot more insight to be gained from a sensor-based analysis. Salinity is a computed property.
Which Copernicus SST product is this from?
My most cited paper (735 and counting - it's a daily citation notification at this point) is this one: doi.org/10.5670/ocea.... Written as part of a class project, I made the major figures. Got an A+. Inspiration for future classes that I will teach.
