Yeah, I am also having to learn graphic design every time I do one of these 😂 Hopefully one day it’ll add up to something

It is A Lot! If you can prep all your promotional material ahead of time, and get help for fulfillment, that can help a lot, but running a Kickstarter is definitely an intense time
A sketchy drawing showing two diagrams of a person using two types of tablets. The top diagram shows a person hunching over a screen tablet set at an angle on a desktop and highlights how the position can cause strain. The second diagram shows a person using a regular non-screen tablet in their lap and sitting straight, looking directly ahead at a monitor, highlighting how the posture can be improved.
I've been getting a lot of questions re: chronic pain + art lately and I'm begging people to consider regular tablets over screen ones, and don't hunch over them. They take some getting used to but they allow for much better posture and reduced strain!
She’s so beautiful!!

new bucket list unlocked for my adhd craft friends:
Watercolor illustration in a lightly cartoon-y style: Two small children, a girl with red frizzy hair and a boy with dark short hair, cautiously and amazedly peer into a door they’ve just opened. The light from the hall illuminates a library covered with books, papers, found objects, and a couple of cats. in the center is a desk and chair with a large open book.
Page from a watercolored comic in a lightly cartoon-y style, a little story-book-ish / Ghibli-inspired: A young woman in a sun hat and tank top harvests cherry tomatoes, talking to herself about having access to a garden, but really missing bread. A frog in a little outfit including a short capelet, rucksack and straw hat appears, waving. She runs to greet him at the garden gate and beseeches him for a sourdough starter excitedly.
Watercolor illustration in a children’s book style: Four bear cubs in different colored shirts frolic in a meadow that’s up to their chests, dotted with big white flowers. One takes a big sniff, two others smile at each other, and the fourth sinks down to their face into the sea of grass.
A selection of cards from a mocked-up board game or card game about cozy woodland critters using fun and whimsical watercolor art: cards include things like “Help a Neighbor” and “Costume Party,” showing recurring characters like a Mabel the Possum and Opal the Frog doing these actions or attending these events.

Hey y’all, #mutualaid I need some help! I can’t get fully back to work for like 3 more weeks (ideally more but by that point I’ll have literally $0) and I’d really like to alleviate any expenses that I can from my family who are taking care of me. Anything helps!

Happy 40th anniversary to Legend of Zelda, the game series that has my whole heart. It is the reason I fell in love with video games, RPGs, and art as a child. It's one of the main reasons I became an artist in adulthood. 🗡️🏰
Photo of Jaded volume 3, a Pink Energy Productions Alternative Fashion and Lifestyle magazine. The cover pictures 2 black decora girls forming a hand heart.
I got my copy of @jadedisland.bsky.social's Jaded v3 and when I say this theme resonates! Such a good read 😊
Will I also be taking a field trip to Kira Kira Salon? Yes, yes I will.
It’s today!! And oh god I have to pay the rest of my taxes too 😬
Please share! Or any amount helps!

The following are all panels of a comic. We begin with the words: When I was young, I would sometimes daydream that a woman would appear from the future... (The image contains only text.)
...and tell me that she was me. (An adult woman's hand reaches down towards the hand of a young person.)
"In the future," she would tell me, "There is amazing medicine and surgery that can change your body." (The woman is now shown stepping through an arched open doorway and holding the young person's hand in a gesture of comfort.)
She would do a turn, her dress flowing, her hair long and beautiful. Then I'd force myself back to reality and tell myself: "Those drugs don't exist, that's not possible. It's all fantasy. Forget this." (The daydream over, the young person sits at a desk, sadly resting their head in their hand.)
As I learn more about myself, memories come into focus that make a lot more sense given what I know now. I've collected them into a story called Before I Knew It. (1/6)
An illustration of my OC, Egg the Trans Raccoon (a blue, pink & white raccoon with a trans-flag-striped tail) laying down and looking at a small flower. They’re also wearing a flower crown in the colors of a trans flag. The illustration is soft and it says “grow into your best self” over Egg.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility! 🏳️⚧️🌸
