They’re so cute when they run across my yard! But I get wanting to move them.

Oh, they live all over our neighborhood so the shrieking is usually how we know it’s finally spring every year.

As a Flyers fan growing up I used to root against us getting power play because we’d always blow it.

There is a fox den under our shed where a ground hog used to live and
1. I hope the groundhog got out alive
2. There are two kits and a foxy mama living there now and they’re adorable (from a distance)

I’m exhausted an eating a large slice of cake while watching Sixteen Candles for the umpteenth time.

It’s rare that this happens so I trust my instincts. I’m not currently training for anything so if I’m not feeling it because my body needs something else like sleep or food, I just take the day off to take care and run the next day.

Run the miles, girl. I hear it in my late grandpa’s voice.

If I’m in a slump I just need to keep moving. I’ll walk or mix in the bike more until I look forward to my runs again.

Because it makes me feel good to move my body outside, keeps stress and anxiety in check, and hopefully sets me up to be healthy well into old age.

Will I get to follow you there again next year? Also, you and @boneydiego.bsky.social should connect. Another awesome Phish fan and runner who is running tomorrow.

A woman smiling after her run.

This #motherrunner delayed her #sundayrunday so she could get chores done during the rainy morning and enjoy the sunny afternoon. #BAMR #runsky #getoutside

Excited to follow @boneydiego.bsky.social’s progress tomorrow as he crushes the marathon! Have a great run, my friend!

I also really hate to waste food so find that making a list and sticking to it really helps us avoid that. Our fridge looks empty at the end of the week but by design.

Thank you! I started doing this when our oldest was a baby because we were living on one income so my husband could be home with him. There’s a lot of freezer-friendly stuff you can prep ahead for 2 and eat again later in the month. Though now my family pretty much eats all of everything I make.

And remember, I live with 3 males. Car rides can get dicey.

Same! Healthy, tasty, and cheap makes me happy feeding a family of 4. I buy the beans from bulk bins at my local organic market and store in my own containers.

My routine every week. Usually soak two different types of beans overnight either Friday or Saturday and then get to cooking. This is a fiber-friendly family. And also 💨-friendly. 🤣

White Bean Soup This vegan White Bean Soup recipe is a comfort food game-changer! So nourishing yet incredibly creamy and comforting, it’s a simple one-pot meal you can throw together in about 30 minutes.

Soaked my beans overnight, cooked this morning, then into the soup! Happy cooking! www.noracooks.com/white-bean-s...

Our younger son *loves* rain and it is a true joy to watch him play in it. 🥰

Totally agree! With a long term partner the goal should be partnership- enjoying and navigating the ups and downs of life together - which is different from dependency. Sure I can count on my partner for certain things + he’s got different strengths, but I don’t rely on them. Gotta stand on my own.
