A lot can go wrong when creating a new world. To get that #slice of heaven where you can wriggle your toes in some grass, you #chance having molten magma erupt and scorch it all. The humans like that about Earth. They are destruction wrapped in niceness, too, after all.

A tall waterfall drops from a high cliff through a narrow canyon. A small footbridge crosses the canyon. The cliffs on either side are packed with bright green trees.
Our shorings and footings for the new dam were #pummeled and swept away by the river yet again. We had to give up. The math was good, I just shuddered to think what force we had overlooked. I swear the leaves cheered, the water chuckled, and the #moss breathed with relief.

The #spiders were amazing #engineers, building more than we realized. I was amazed to see that the town signpost was made of tightly woven webs. Then I noticed the clouds, the cars, the trees - all webs. Too late, I found out they could weave handcuffs and gags as well.

The sudden crash of a tree falling was a shock. Even crazier was seeing a naked woman half emerge from the #elm stump.
"Who are you?" The she-tree demanded.
"Literally nobody!" I stammered.
"At long last! Please, to finally settle the debate: did I make a sound when I fell?"
