Working on organzing my sewing notions and muttering to myself about how I need something to put my T-pins in when a lightbulb appears over my head like I haven't been making little boxes pefect for such a purpose for weeks.

Another stupid punch card I would make for myself is like "completed one (1) whole task without getting distracted" but I don't feel that is realistic.

I've seen so many people making cute little punch cards to encourage them to do certain things and I want to make some for myself. One of my goals is this year is to get back to the gym--no specific goal tied to that, just going--and doing one for a set number of attendances.

it's crazy that 500 years ago, you would see the ruler of your country maybe once in your life and hear whispers that they're the Sun God, but now with social media, you get to see on a daily basis that they're the most unhinged, idiotic, and unhappy person you know

I used to have a box of movie ticket stubs from movies back to as old as when I was 13. I got rid of it a few years ago and I still regret it.

I don't think he is sentimental about physical objects like that the way I am, but I don't care. They turned out great and I like having a little souvenir for things we've done together.

Since you don't get a physical ticket for things anymore, I made some ticket stubs for some performances my pal and I saw this year--once for his birthday, and the other just because--as little mementos.

So I ordered a coffee advent calendar this year where I get different beans from roasters across Canada every day, and so far so good. The only thing is that while I like coffee and drink a lot of it I'm not *quite* that level of coffee snob/knowledgeable to like have real opinions about taste.

So many tattoo shops in my area are advertising walk-ins and I just got a new tattoo but the temptation to go get something small and dumb is BIG.

I am in scheduling hell at work today.

I am cat sitting this grumpy man this weekend except actually he is a big old sucky baby. Go figure.

I made another frog friend.

Two crows are flying in front of a gray-blue sky. One says to the other "Do you think we're best friends in other universes too?" The second panel splits into a three by three grid of different reactions of "Um"s and "Well"s from the second crow, in a multiverse sort of way. The third panel is further split again by three, so there are nine by nine squares of the same two crows flying together, the only distinction between the squares is a different sky colour. In the fourth panel, the square are again divided by three so there are now 27 by 27 filling the panel. We can see now that there is a greater pattern emerging from the colours of each square, a pixelated form is starting to emerge. In the fifth panel, the many many squares of different universes is reminiscent of a painting using pointillism, which each dot of colour represent one of many thousands of realities. We can see now very clearly that the pixelated forms are the two crows, flying in front of a gray-blue sky. We return to the visual resolution as we saw in the first panel, as if no time has passed at all. The second crow responds "It doesn't seem likely".
