A long-term and scalable system to record from neural organoids | King's College London A new brain organoid system helps reduce unwanted variability and scales up experiments for higher throughput drug testing and genetic research.

Brain #organoids have huge potential for 💊 testing drugs, 🧬 researching genetics and 🧠 studying brain development.

New research from @ncndgroup.bsky.social @adampavlinek.bsky.social scales up experiments and reduces variability.

This is a great role for someone who loves working with hiPSC/hESC-derived brain organoids but also enjoys project management, and shaping a platform that lots of other scientists will rely on.

Excited to share our newest preprint, Electrophysiological development and functional plasticity in dissociated human cerebral #organoids across multiple cell lines 🧠🔬🧪: doi.org/10.1101/2025... This is based on some of the work I did in my PhD with the great @ncndgroup.bsky.social 1/5

We were using the Aggrewell800 24-well plate from Stem Cell technologies - now we are using the Nunclon Sphera 96U bottom from Thermo - having much more success with these!

Yup. They are also v brittle and disintegrate…move u bottom 96 well plates and things seem much better
