Yesterday, I successfully passed my "Habilitationskolloquium" at the University of Mainz. My second book (i.e. "Habilitationsschrift") – titled: "Revolutionary Families. The Transatlantic Lives of Forty-Eighters, 1848/49-1914" – will be published soon, hopefully this summer.
