Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is fast asleep on top of a cardboard box which has been turned upside down and had a door cut in the side facing the camera. The box has green graphics on either side of the cut out door. There is a red and blue Superman toy at the right side of the door. Behind the box is a glass door looking out into the garden. Gizmo’s large floofy tail is curled round from the left side and partially covers his head which itself is laying on a leg and its snow dipped paw parked at the edge of the box. He looks very cosy and relaxed for a cat on the roof of a box who could be exposed to any manner of intrusion into his nap time but I guess when you’re a domestic lion you don’t really concern yourself with such things! 😹😹

The life of a box when adopted by a Maine Coon can be short and dangerous…as we see here the “roof” of Gizmo’s house is sagging under the weight of a lion who prefers the roof to inside.
