We did eventually get one! In 2020, Dark Horse Books published a book title "BioWare: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development", which had some never-before seen artwork of chronicles, including art of Shade without her helmet
A few days ago, the @svaproject.bsky.social published a "A set of Sonic the Hedgehog, and more, art assets from various games" that were donated to them for archival;
These include art from Sonic Chronicles with their original .PSD layers, which we can remove to finally see their full versions!
Only place it's been explicitly mentioned and explained in is the discord
It is currently on hiatus in favor of other projects (our main developer, @justin113d.com, is working on hedgehog engine 2 modding stuff). Development on this game will resume some time in the future
On hold right now to prioritize HE2 modding tools
We decided to reserve Youtube uploads for major updates, which have yet to happen.
The game is not in a playable state yet, especially not since we restarted development using the godot engine in December 2023
Don't worry, we have no intention to discontinue this project!
