Not to keep the trumpet going, but (imo) Heretic is High Grant’s best work ever. He is phenomenal in it. And it only took a horror movie to get this kind of performance out of him. Incredible cast. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East are equally fantastic standing toe to toe in every scene. #filmsky

Oh and the sound design? Gtfoh. And *that* match cut by the side of the road? What?? And telling us from the first shot what’s going on?? FU. The mom in the car’s back window?? C’MON!!

Longlegs is one of the best examples of center cut framing since Fury Road and compelling use of negative space since Halloween. The layering in every frame from foreground to background in wide angles is gorgeous. The birthday card scene is chefs kiss of it all.
