When you come home from work after a shitty day, and you're greeted like this . 😍

He didn’t ask NYCers to shovel snow for free. He paid them well, as he should’ve. Why are creatives deserving of any less than laborers?

He should select a pool of amateurs and pay them ALL to come up with the jingle and then Cardi B. picks the winner from them.

I love you so so much and fully support you but as a designer I detest spec work and this contest is just that. Spec work. Respectfully please do better. Thx for listening. 🖖

A straight on photograph of my pitbull Max laying on my orange bedspread as he looks directly at the camera. His front pause arresting on either side of his nose, almost like he’s hiding his face.

My dear boi Max. I was so lucky to snap this amazing photo of him at the time. I miss him so much. 🥰

A screenshot of a Hollywood Reporter politics news article. The headline reads, "Dave Chappelle Knocks Republican Party for “Weaponized” Transgender Jokes: “That’s Not What I Was Doing”" The subheadline states, "After being called out for transphobic jokes, the superstar comedian told NPR that Lauren Boebert and other Republicans are politicizing his humor." Below the text is a photo of Chappelle in a black tuxedo speaking at a podium, with a caption noting he is accepting the President's Award at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.

No, that's exactly what Chappelle was doing and it's why trans people criticized him for doing it.

This is rather brilliant - Having Super Mario Kart Racing in your own home, the live-action version.

This course features collectible LEGO figures of Mario, Luigi and the gang.

The creation is part of a Rube Goldberg-style machine featured by Joseph's Machines.

Maybe in a month or so, I’ll write something up. But for April, I’m sponsoring Tapestry by @iconfactory.com. Happy to be a sponsor with some great companies/products!

So far, it’s been much more fruitful with respect to downloads than Reddit ads!

Ever wonder how to get rid of a mattress? Or how to find resources for a neighbor in need? Call 311.

311 is contacted 100,000 times every day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. No call is too small.

So on the anniversary of 311 (3/11), I decided to answer some of those calls myself.

A single vote for Trump in the birthright citizenship case would be as bad as anything the Court has done since Bush v. Gore. This issue has been settled for more than a century. It is the jurisprudential equivalent of asking what 2+2 is. Any answer other than 4, something is deeply, deeply wrong.

Mayor Mamdani and DEP workers placing a new sewer grate

Mayor Mamdani and DEP workers placing a new sewer grate

New York, we’ve got your back: we’re upgrading 6,700+ catch basins, storm drains, and slotted manhole covers so that when it rains, no one can catch you slipping.

This is a $108M investment in more reliable infrastructure, flood prevention, dry streets, and dry socks for New Yorkers.

This is why I keep pitching Octopus Jeopardy, a 100% all-octopus spinoff. Everyone tells me it’s a terrible idea but I think it has legs.

In three months, Zohran Mamdani has:

-Delivered millions in restitution for workers cheated by fast food and delivery companies
-Cracked down on bad landlords
-Launched the first stage of a universal childcare program
-Fixed thousands of potholes in NYC streets

This is what leadership looks like.

Today is the birthday of actor Leonard Nimoy. His most famous role, Starfleet Commander Spock, is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, and he was a big influence on me when I was a kid. Thanks for all the memories, Mr. Nimoy.

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all

My argument against consuming any Harry Potter media runs like this:

Any time I would do this, I put money in the pocket of somebody actively using that money to aggressively litigate against and marginalise trans people. It’s basically the same as a donation to a hate group.

I loved the Micronauts so much. I had one vehicle that had a clear sphere as the cockpit and the whole thing was waterproof so I took it in the bathtub every chance I got.

The Rocket Tubes were another story though. This toy never worked no matter how much I tried. Total fail! 😅

Social Circle officials cut off water to site of planned Georgia ICE detention "mega-center" The City of Social Circle has a message for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: No water for its planned detention center until the agency starts sharing information.

DHS bought a warehouse in Social Circle, Georgia, for a new detention center. When the city asked them for information on needed water and sewage use, they refused to answer, so the city cut off the water and sewage and locked it down until they get a proper answer.
