I usually blame myself first for not liking a book. have I been too tired when reading? have I not paid enough attention? but you know. sometimes a book just doesn't do it for whatever reason. Generation X by Douglas Coupland was one of those books. but hey-ho. Generation A is more intriguing . . .

to afford petrol for their car

to find employment

to educate their children

that live under the threat

of bomb blast

of persecution

of climate breakdown

is it me or is there something mildly sensual about achy joints after working hard outside. lying in bed. belly down. waking up. wiggling hips. thoughts drifting. well anyways. it's almost time to start the day and work out those aches and pains. but maybe I will lie here just a little longer . . .
