A very dignified older lady (dog), white fur with a brown splotch over her eye. She was caught mid sentence, she asking whether or not you think she could be French. She has been thinking about it a lot lately.

Luckily for me, I love darning/visible mending. I’ve been fixing up what I can to give to friends and family of my mom. She loved shopping for people and loved giving people treasures she found (whether they wanted/needed them or not), and I will do the same
My mother, a prolific thrifter/treasure hunter, went through phases, and close to the end of her life she was in a big cashmere (and wool/cotton) phase—unfortunately, many of these pieces weren’t taken care of, which is probably why they ended up at a thrift store

this month in mending: patched a small hole on my mom's (now my) winter jacket, now I'll just have to wait and see if it will hold up 🤞✨
