The only question worth asking at these incredibly flash Reform press conferences that take place every week now, is who is paying for all of this and what do they want in return bsky.app/profile/pete...

NOT NOW, BATS
As someone living in that interstitial space, this hits: "We tend to understand illness as something you either die from, or recover from. Those of us who are chronically ill live in the awkward inbetween space. Not dying, but not getting better either. Not an emergency, not something fully resolved"
Ragnar Blackwolf writes: Hypothetically if someone was accused of having sex with goats by over 30 different people and regularly denied it, but also dropped very public hints about how much he liked to have sex with goats for decades, and ran a goat pageant to find the best looking goats, and was best friends with someone who got convicted of fucking goats and trafficking goats to friends all over the world who also liked to fuck goats, and his name was in the classified goat fucker chronicles 5,000 times, and he wished other goat fuckers well in prison, what do you think the odds are that person is also a goat fucker?

NEW: Our investigation for @thenerve_news reveals not only that Peter Thiel’s Palantir is completely enmeshed in our critical national infrastructure.
It’s also the ‘cloud support’ for our nuclear weapons system 🤯

Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

The normalisation of racist hate and the fearmongering about "foreign paedophiles" by the mainstream media and politicians has allowed Tommy Robinson and his moronic followers to set the agenda...

I will die on this hill:
it isn’t hard to say “at the height of the pandemic” or “at the start of COVID” during a podcast interview. Producers, hosts, don’t let your guests say “during COVID” like this thing is over. Correct them. Ask them to say the sentence again. This is your job.

Well today has been lovely 🥰
You should care about disability justice because it’s the right thing to do. There’s no justice without inclusion.
If that doesn’t convince you, remember that everyone is only temporarily abled.
If you live long enough, you’ll become disabled. It can happen in an instant & no one is the exception.
Universal credit is means tested isn’t it? So is this whole PIP thing actually about moving loads of disabled people onto a means-tested benefit, which takes into account their relationships instead of treating them as individuals?
@juliusgoat.bsky.social
We need to stop blaming people for their disabilities.
Health is not a permanent state. Most people will experience disability at some point in their lives.
We’re not less than. We didn’t do anything wrong.
We deserve equitable, dignified and adequate support.
@debbieabrahamsmp.bsky.social Hi Debbie. In today’s Guardian, I have this piece on a woman with MND battling for continuing healthcare: www.theguardian.com/commentisfre... I wondered if CHC was an issue you might be able to raise? Feel free to DM me. Thanks so much x

Word of the day….
Please don’t even talk to me in the morning until I’ve had my coffee, 27 hours of alone time, several months by the seaside to ease my agonies, and many decades to wander the earth until the fabled blade of my ancestors can finally be reforged
