Shot some super old expired Kodak ULTRA 400 (Wal-Mart branded) last summer with my Pentax MX. My friend @cgartworks.bsky.social scanned them for me.

I love the retro vibe!

I don’t usually take colourful sunrise / sunset photos but closing the year with an exception seems appropriate enough

Little St. Lawrence

A couple of years ago, a local metal detectorist found a 15th century Henry VI quarter noble gold coin on a beach just a stone's throw away from this scene.

That may not be a big deal in Europe, but it sure was here in Newfoundland

This corner cottage is on the narrow road to towards the village of Malpas, Truro. When I took this shot, I loved the texture of the old wall and the angle of the fencing, all overseen by the solitary tree. 😊

And old two story home in rural Newfoundland sits looking eerily abandoned at dusk. There is, however, warmth coming from a light in a downstairs window. The more modern house across the street has a Christmas tree in the window.

In Nov I released my first photobook. It's a very niche book, but also a very personal one.

I've shot professionally for 20 yrs.Had work published in mags, thousands of happy clients, but nothing has felt as satisfying as the ppl that bought my book feeling exactly what I set out to have them feel.

Let's see if BlueSky can handle this super niche question/request..

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good film sim/recipe to use for winter/snow shots? Specifically for the X-Trans III sensor (shooting a Fuji XT-2)

A reflection of a photographer as he takes a photo looking out through a dark porch at the end of a work day at an office.

Closing time.

A self-portrait reflection just before I leave the office for the dark commute home. If the light is all gone before the drive, I have to find something to shoot regardless. Even if it is my own reflection in the door.
