A squad of converted Eldar Exodite snipers. The models have splashes of bright colours all over them, in particular their hair, their armour and any trophies they have, but are somewhat obscured by the drab brown of their camo cloaks and gun wrappings.

The layout is designed to look like a zelda dungeon, with a large room holding the game window and a smaller room holding the chat. Link is also here, looking confused at some ghosts.

The layout is setup to look like the outside of a castle, with monsters attacking the gate. The main building frames the game window and the chat is placed on a smaller side-section of the castle.

Put in a bunch of work today, making some new stream layouts based on GBC and GBA Zelda games on the off chance I can sunk cost myself into starting up the stream again. Ignore the lil background in the top right, though, that still needs ago over at some point 😬

That's a hunka hunka Celtic bastard. Beautiful detail!

A fully painted, 3d printed figure of 2000AD character Slaine, as he appeared on the cover of The Horned God. Slaine is wearing little clothing, a loincloth, a stylised metal belt and a large cloak, and his skin is covered in blue tattoos and blood. He holds a large battleaxe in his right hand, the head resting on the ground, and a long pole in his right, from which hangs two severed, green orc heads. He is stood on a large, grey rock, painted qnd textured to look like a snowy mountaintop.

A closeup shot of Slaine from the shoulders up, showing the heavily verdigrised amulets hanging from his cloak, as well as his wild dark hair. The lower part of his face has been shaded to imply stubble, whereas the upper half has been highlighted to emphasise the lines on his brow, which are then broken up by the bright red stripes that run from his forehead, over his eyes, and then down his cheeks.

A close up of the large metal belt wrapped around Slaine's waist, stylised to look like a snarling, tusked beast. In the source material, most of the metal Slaine wears is depicted as this vibrant, cool blue tone. I took a bit of artistic license on this piece and painted these elements as if they were bronze, stained bright blue by verdigris except for on raised areas, where the original colour still shines through.

A close up of the two orc heads hanging from Slaine's trophy pole. While my background is in painting warhammer models, I wanted to give these orcs a less vivid, more grounded skin tone to better tie them in with the rest of the piece. Additionally, I wanted the heads to appear like they are still relatively "fresh", so while I used muted, earthy greens for the skin, I made use of red and purple glazes in the recesses to suggest that, while dead, there is still blood in these trophy heads.

And here he is: Slaine, the Horned God!
Definitely pleased with how he turned out (and thankfully so is my commissioner), especially so with how the blue metal and skin tones! Still not used to painting such big figures, but will have to do so again in future!

The figure is only partially assembled, with a number of part being left separate for ease of painting, including the head and handle of his axe, as well as two severed orc heads.

A close up view of Slaine's upper half, specifically to show of his metalwear (and no ther reasons!). I took a bit of a creative liberty with the metal here, as the original artwork shows this metal as quite an eyecatching blue, and painted it as bronze, stained a bright blue by verdigris, with some of its original colour shining through on the edges and raised areas.

At long last, I've got some commission WIPs for you painting enjoyers to... enjoy?

This is Slaine, a big fella originally from 2000AD comics and, standing at just shy of 10" tall, he really is a big fella! Still a fair way to go still, so watch this space!

In robot form, they carry a large, orangey-yellow sword and a shield decorated with the same design from the side of the van. Their body is mostly dark purple and magenta accents, with some elements being a light grey. In van form, they are the same dark purple, with the right side of the van painted with a mural of a barbarian, a dragon and a wizard, all in front of a castle.

Honestly though, this thing was crazy small and real intimidating to even start on, but it felt great to work on once I got started!

Not to keep droning on about it, but this is legit one of my proudest pieces of work, like it feels unreal that this is something I've made entirely myself, from start to finish!
