A young manticore cub looks up after he pins a young sphinx cub to the ground. Off-screen voices call to them. Voice 1: Jaz, let him up, he's smaller- Voice 2, interrupting: Nonsense, Jihrak! Alkimos needs to learn to free himself.

He is missing most of his tail but it is growing back. - Roshanak, a golden manticore with broken brown stripes, a short brown mane, and pale grey-brown bat wings and scorpion tail. She is missing her front right leg. She is marked SOLD. - Indigo, a calico manticore with short brown hair and light vitiligo on their face. They have deep brown fur with spots of orange tabby, their back half is a dilute color. They have purple wings with gold accents. - Behruz, a pale cream and khaki manticore with stripes on his lower legs. His short scrappy mane is black but has been sun-bleached to reddish in spots. His wings and tail are also black and reddish brown, and he is missing most of his tail and parts of the fingers that make up his wings. - Tanith, a brown sphinx with short brown hair and cream underbelly. He has a khaki body with brown spots and patches of dilution, and his reddish brown mane is full and streaked with white. His wings have silver accents.
