This, combined with Lindsey Graham posting about a great call he had with POTUS about Iran five hours ago makes me really nervous.

New York City Is Beating the Postpandemic Shoplifting Scourge Plexiglass antitheft barriers have frustrated shoppers trying to buy everyday items, but signs of a turnaround are growing.

As you were warned: If you elect Mamdani, crime will skyrocket, and the city will become completely unlivable for law-abiding citizens

(Also: Retail theft is down over 20% in NYC for Q1 of 2026 compared to last year.)

My advice for anyone who wants to get involved? Show up and get involved.

One day in 2002, I showed up at the Wellstone for Senate office, and it changed my life forever.

This black-and-white portrait captures Maggie Kuhn (1905–1995), the indomitable founder of the Gray Panthers, an activist group that revolutionized the fight against ageism. Seated in a relaxed yet attentive pose, Kuhn is seen in her later years, radiating a sense of sharp-witted wisdom and gentle defiance. She is dressed in a dark, structured, button-down jacket with a small round collar, featuring a prominent circular political button pinned to her left chest—a hallmark of her lifelong commitment to grassroots organizing. Her silver hair is elegantly swept back, and she wears thin-framed glasses that highlight her keen, observant eyes and a slight, knowing smile.

Her hands, weathered by time and adorned with simple rings, rest naturally in her lap, one draped over the arm of what appears to be a patterned chair. The background is softly out of focus, showing a glimpse of indoor foliage and a textured wall, suggesting a television studio or public forum setting where she frequently challenged societal norms. The composition is a medium shot that focuses on her presence as a formidable public figure. The mood is one of dignified strength and intellectual vitality, serving as a powerful visual testament to her legacy as a champion for intergenerational justice and the rights of the elderly.

How much Americans have shelled out to Elon Musk through government contracts: $38 billion.
How much Elon Musk made last year: $200+ billion
How much Tesla paid in federal taxes last year: $0.
Oligarchy is real. The system is rigged.

It’s important to remember that elections are pretty much airways reactions to the status quo. Virginia’s obviously partisan gerrymander vote was close but successful. This is voters saying they dislike the stats quo and want something different. It’s not voters saying they want fixed elections.

CDC won’t publish report showing covid shots cut likelihood of hospital visits The report, which had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won’t be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

Hmm, I wonder why…

My favorite thing is when I get the following lecture.

“Only simple minds like yours think there’s any difference between the parties, actually you only care about that because it’s sports and you’re rooting for your team”

I root for the team that doesn’t viciously oppress me. How is that hard?

Up to 56,000 people died from COVID-19 or RSV last year RSV was associated with 190,000 to 350,000 hospitalizations from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, as well as 10,000 to 23,000 deaths, according to new CDC data.

RFK Jr: I terminated the COVID vaccines because it didn’t make any sense. COVID is gone.

Note: From July 2024 to June 2025 in the US, COVID19 caused up to 450,000 hospitalizations and 53,000 deaths.

COVID ain’t gone, shitbird.
