On March 29, 2025, #NgurahRai Airport in #Denpasar, Bali, will be closed for 24 hours in observance of #Nyepi, the #Balinese Day of Silence. From 6am on March 29 to 6am on March 30, no #flights will take off or land, and the skies over #Bali will be unusually empty.

✈️ The airport in Denpasar (DPS) was closed for 24 hours (6am March 29 - March 30 6am)! It seems to be the only airport in the world that is completely closed for religious reasons.
