I don’t think y’all understand yet. The talent we’ve gathered across the cast and crew is unreal. We received auditions from all over the WORLD! When I say we got the best of the best I mean it. I can’t wait to share more VERY soon!

Does Figs make robes?
Great suggestions, thanks! I recently watched the John Candy documentary (I Like Me) and I highly recommend it!
I’ll have to check it out! Other favorite documentaries?
They still do them at some places despite the pharmacist pleas!
the last thing Epic sees before I d/c all the IV drip orders that have been off for a week
Thanks for the reply! I googled your name and I think you are VERY close to me! 😮
Some items are easier/cheaper to secure, while others are expensive to get the real things. I’m open to any alternatives, trainer/demo versions, or dupe options!
If you know places to purchase, rent, borrow, or replicate any of these please share below and help me out!

I’m an ICU pharmacist and I wrote a feature film! It’s called THIRTEEN WEEKS and we shoot this summer! 🎥
I need help brainstorming how best to secure some MEDICAL PROPS to ensure the film looks as realistic as possible.

THIRTEEN WEEKS script page tracker:
0 ➡️ 160 ➡️ 110 ➡️ 100
Rule of thumb (very approximately) is 1 page = 1 minute of screen time!

Scrubs (series) 🩻
The Shop Around the Corner 💌
You’ve Got Mail ⌨️
When Harry Met Sally 🥪
When developing a film, it can be useful to have a “comp” (or “comparable”).
A comp is a previously released movie, series, book, etc that has similarities in genre, theme, tone, etc to your project. 📺🧐
Hi! I’m an ICU pharmacist and the screenwriter for THIRTEEN WEEKS, a medical romantic comedy feature film. 🏥🎭🎥
Let’s talk about COMPS!
At least the water flushes are free
Silent chest has gotta be one of the most ominous sounding diagnoses
If I were Allen, I’d be so mad that someone modified my test
Now let’s do the more fun version of this: what are some BAD examples of medicine in film/TV? 👎
Can be hilariously inaccurate medical dialogue, an unrealistic healthcare worker character, or an entire show that just misses the mark. 🙅♂️
Thanks for sharing! 🙏

MONDAY
Me: Hello! I’m the ICU pharmacist. We usually do rounds at 9 if you're up for it?
New locum intensivist: Oh uh well okay that’s fine.
FRIDAY
Me: He-
NLI: Omg I’m glad you’re here I have questions on this and need help with that…
Predictable but feels good every time!🤷♂️
Help me do some medical screenwriting research! 👨💻
What are some notable GOOD examples of medicine in film/TV? ✅
Can be as specific as a character or scene, or as broad as an entire show.
Bonus points for examples in the inpatient or ICU setting! 🏥
