sometimes I see people defend the first SILENT HILL movie on the basis that Gans gender-swapping the protagonist is some kind of feminist empowerment move when it was infact bc Gans did not believe Harry Mason could be believed as a ‘masculine’ character bc he expressed fear and vulnerability 🤔

Check it out!!

Stumbled on this little indie theater while I was out of town that just happened to be playing Exit 8. I have to say Exit 8 might be the best video game adaptation I have seen in while. Perfectly captured the feeling of the game.

Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon
Takao “The man who killed Godzilla” Okawara’s fantasy epic. This is based on the legends Nihon Shoki and Kojiki but this movie acts more like Japanese Clash of the Titans.

Watched the US theatrical version of Godzilla 2000, which had an "The End ?" card that was removed from home video releases. The copy I watched was sourced from an Indonesian VCD, and it gives the movie a whole different feel, almost like a post-apocalyptic or analog horror vibe.
