239 Westminster Road, Kirkdale, Liverpool. Carries the initials JAH, and a date of 1883 . Doctor James Alexander Hendry was a local doctor, and visiting surgeon to executions at Kirkdale Gaol. He passed away here in 1903. The house continued to be a doctors surgery for many years

No.2 Rodney Street, Liverpool, was built c1830, and for over 80 years was residence of the Bickersteth family.
Dr. E. R. Bickersteth died here on 7th March 1908, leaving £342,955..... the equivalent of some £44million today!
