If you want more proof of why not to trust things to AI, I made a typo asking about sweet pea cutting and whether flower buds would open after cutting. Exactly the opposite answer from one typo in the question to my correction. #ai

My first try with glaze chips. It was fired hot, so some of the colour chips blistered, but I think all in all it was a success!

Salt pig and spoon! The spoon is one of the several I made & the pig is a modified mug form.

To the woman in the coffee shop with hood up, baseball hat on and wearing large dark sunglasses, I don’t know who you are, but appreciate your efforts to look famous but incognito. 🥸

I think my exclamations might have been slightly stronger, but yes! 🥲

This is supposed to happen on Mondays, not Fridays. But then again, I am clumsy 24/7

Bubble glazed plates turned out okay, but the bubble lines aren’t as crisp as I’d like. I’ll experiment to see how to improve. Maybe even work on making plates the same size 😅 #bubbleglazing #potteryglazing #functionalceramics #potterylove

Not sure what I think of this peacock glazed bowl. I think the final result is okay, but was hoping for Wow!

What do you think?

Exactly! The traitor!

Thank you! It was a textured vinyl placemat rolled onto it. 🙂

A green ceramic plate in a leaf shape with a textured pattern on it is central in the image. On the right, a hand is holding a narrow width teardrop shaped piece of ceramic that is attached to the right end of the platter.

This wasn’t supposed to have a handle. The ultimate betrayal - my kiln stilt bent in the glaze fire and the platter tilted and melded with this wind chime piece underneath. #potteryfail

Trying a peacock glazing technique on this bowl. Pity I have limited colours to do this with. But then again, that prevents decision paralysis on that front at least. #ceramicglaze #potteryglazing #pottery

Of course! Not that I’m any kind of sculptor, so not sure how close the resemblance will be 😂

Do you mind if I use this as inspiration for some ceramics?

There’s a woman waiting for the train in my small village of 6000. She is wearing a full-length black velvet cloak. With hood! I must become friends with her.

I live in the UK, but downloaded Bluesky to keep up with you and the birds. I’m sad on your behalf too.
