You win some you lose some. The handle on this piece was definitely cursed (it broke again during glaze fire and fell and got stuck where it is), and I was too heavy handed with glaze. Will try the same concept later! #potteryfail
Ceramics always keep you humble. I went to pick my pieces and this goat’s glaze had bubbled…
I’ll try to refire it but nit putting my hopes there. Everything else was great.

Nothing quite as frustrating as being excited for a pair of mugs to come out of the kiln - only to have them both immediately fail the hot water test. Anyone need some pencil holders ? 😫

I've been working on this mug for a long time!! Just with firing schedules and everything. Got it today out of the community kiln and the black underglaze I used is all pitted 😭 i asked the kiln tech if he can retire it. Any ideas on how to fix or is it a lost cause?
