What I did this week instead of finishing my novel:
-got my armpit hair complimented by a woman at the park
-deleted 2k words, one at a time
-watched a fox in my yard at 3am
-wrote more horny stuff for the vibes
-deep cleaned my yoga mat (yes, again. I am sweaty)

What I didn’t do:
-write an ending

(But also these bath salts were really nice! They were like rose and mint and rosemary and I saved them for days when I needed to feel a little special! Please come back)

Morning chores derailed; while dusting my bathroom, I discovered a pretty little bottle of bath salts is missing? This isn’t important at all, just weird??

we’re a 2 person household and the person that’s not me never looks below eye level, so he didn’t move it?

I LOVE rereading books. I have a silly short memory for media so I can revisit faves like they’re nearly new, and often choose to when:
-I’ve had a string of DNFs and need a win
-I just finished an absolute banger and need something I know can follow it
-I’m sick/stressed and want familiar comfort

Some people write a book and publish it in six months.

I, on the other hand, am sitting on several that have been WIPs for ten plus years. 🤭🙈

Totally true!! I lived half my life in New Jersey and this is the first time I’ve ever seen dolphins just… chilling? Right off the coast? It was incredible!

Writing the sex scene was fun too but much less novel 😂
