The English Country Wedding. A little more abstract. Fleeting glimpses. Quickly fading memories. Lasting emotional imprints. #wedding #Englishcountrywedding #abstractphotography #memories
Excellent work. My wife and I have done the same to our garden and it is full of wildlife. Next door is the same so doubly great.
@georgemonbiot.bsky.social further to your recent comment on a lack of swifts this year…happy to say a few have arrived inThrelkeld, North Lakes.
It’s the talk of all the books clubs around Keswick.
We’ve had perhaps one pair this year where we live. Usually there are dozens. I have seen more around the area (North Lakes, England) but nowhere near as many as usual. On the plus side, a Sandpiper has taken up residency by the river. A long way from any shoreline.
I’ve written about the obsession with leadership and leaders at the expense of management and managers. Also how ‘practice’ is a concept seldom used when referring to either…when it should be. www.koganpage.com/hr-learning-...
And for clarity (as a UK news outlet): UK catholic population approx 9%.
@channel4news.bsky.social your opening statement today: “The world has a new pope.” No! 17% of the world’s population has a new pope. Great news. But let’s keep a little perspective. Let’s not misinform.
Just read the @theguardian.com article. Excellent piece. I’ll be buying the book. Keep up the fantastic work.
