What happened to the Zack Polanski surge?

People are suffering now, why wait four years?
@tomgordonld.bsky.social speaks out against delaying assisted dying reform. Reducing the implementation period from 4 years to 3 is vital because those suffering today can’t wait. #AssistedDyingBill
It was the word 'consistent' used. I'm afraid if you think that only what's said on Hansard is what matters then I have some world-shattering news for you...
So a total of 4 times when MPs are expected to speak out on so many issues is quite a lot. It also ignores the countless times Tom (and I’m sure other MPs!) have gone to equalities questions, bobbed and not been picked or submitted a question on LGBT rights and not come out of the shuffle.
So how can anyone possibly put Lib Dems and Greens on the same footing as Labour, Tories and Reform when it comes to Trans Rights? I find it odd that as soon as it comes to scrutinising labour, various cttes buckle under pressure and blame all parties.
bsky.app/profile/tomg... not sure what this is then?
But this doesn’t stand up when parties that are contributing to the mess we’re in (Labour, Tories, RefUK) are treated exactly the same as those who aren’t (LD and Greens). In reality it’s just a move to cover up for Labour.
Assisted dying should be about dignity and autonomy.
The amendment I’ve tabled, with cross party support, would extend eligibility to 12 months for those with neurodegenerative diseases.
It’s about ensuring fairness, access, and giving people choice at end of life.
