A three panel comic featuring two fox children, Ozy and Millie. They're running around playing tag.
Panel 1:
Millie: "If you're 'it,' then we're playing tag. We ARE playing tag, therefore, you're 'it.'"
Panel 2:
Ozy: "Most people in a game of tag are not 'it.' I'm playing tag, therefore I'm not 'it,' so therefore YOU'RE 'it.'"
Panel 3:
Millie: "Oh SNAP! Good use of inductive argument."
Ozy: "We're playing 'logical fallacy tag.'"

A four-panel comic. Llewellyn, a dragon, and Mililani, a vixen, are chatting at a cafe.
Panel 1:
Llewellyn: "It's a funny thing, the way we so often put so much in the hands of our least able."
Panel 2:
Llewellyn: "We fear those with enough intelligence to challenge, or to scheme... in the end, we seem to prefer decision-makers too *simple* to be successfully dishonest."
Panel 3:
Llewellyn: "Why, we chose a president almost entirely because he was *simpler*, and therefore somehow more honest, than the competition..."
Panel 4:
Llewellyn: "I never did take to Rutherford B. Hayes."
Mililani: "Uh huh."

Ozy: dad, what would you say is the greatest thing you’ve ever experienced?

Llewellyn: oh, that’s easy. There was this waffle I had once in Belgium. It defies description.

Ozy: aren’t you bound by parent law to say “raising you, my dear boy?”

Llewellyn: “oh, but you didn’t TASTE this waffle.”

Panel 1:
Young Llewellyn is knocking on the unicorn's door, holding a bouquet of flowers
Llewellyn: "Alas, outside the realms of fairy tales, young infatuation is all too often undone by the unanticipated complication."
Panel 2:
Young Llewellyn sneezes, incinerating the flowers he's holding with dragon fire.
Panel 3:
Llewellyn: "Hay fever, in my case."
Young Llewellyn offers the bundle of smoldering flowers to an unimpressed unicorn.
Panel 4:
Ozy: "I imagine other dads tell stories about college football."
Llewellyn: "So never bring a girl charred black stalks. It's a very embarrassing faux pas."

A four panel comic. Llewellyn, a dragon, is checking in for jury duty.
Panel 1:
Clerk: "Your name please?"
Llewellyn: "Llewellyn."
Panel 2:
Clerk: "Is that your first name or your last name, sir?"
Llewellyn (looking thoughtful): "Well, I can't say for certain that it was the very first name I was ever called in this life..."
Panel 3:
Llewellyn: "But it certainly isn't the last. I've been called a great many things, some of which are unrepeatable in a courthouse."
Panel 4:
Clerk: "Look, just TAKE this nametag..."
Llewellyn: "For example, when I was a hatchling, my mother used to call me 'smoochy pie...'"

I love it when people tell me they got my books at the library.

I almost lived at the library as an adolescent. My love of comics was nurtured by the comics and humor section there for years. I love the idea that I’m part of that for kids now.
