Fel gekleurd oranje landschap van vernietigde akkers met daarop ineen lijn een aantal bijlen die daar achter elkaar marcheren door hun wortels uit de grond. Daarboven een diepblauwe en chaotische hemel die tekeer gaat. Linksboven staat in het Duits 'Beilzeit - Wolfszeit' in wit krijt op de blauwe lucht geschreven. Het geheel is woest geschilderd door Anselm Kiefer. Het geheel ziet er onheilspellend uit.

このあいだ行った福岡市美術館で鋤田正義の写真が新収蔵品として展示されていた。
撮影されたのは1960年代から80年代で、1992年の写真展用にデジタルプリントされたもの。
美野島の写真展で見た時はもっと大きなサイズだった。そこらへん写真は自在だな。

Prachtig kleurrijk schilderij uit 1917 met doorzicht onder een aantal magnoliabomen met daarin het bleken van de was op het gazon. Het kunstwerk is opgebouwd uit allemaal kleine fel gekleurde verfstreepjes. Rechts en links kan je nog net een boerderij en een schuur ontwaren. De magnoliabomen met een rode bast en takken staan in bloeien en worden getooid met volop witte bloemen. Daarachter zie je nog het groen van andere bomen verschijnen. Het gras is opgebouwd uit groene verfstreepjes. De blauwe streepjes stellen de schaduw van de bomen voor.

Een statig schilderij in felle kleuren met op de achtergrond allemaal kleine kleurveegjes in diverse verschillende kleuren. Deze schilderstijl valt onder het pointillisme. Het is een portret van een voorname dame, de voorzitter van de Vereeniging voor Verbetering van Vrouwenkleeding die vond dat vrouwen kleding moesten dragen waarin ze zich makkelijk kunnen bewegen. Ze pleit daarom voor de afschaffing van het korset.Zelfbewust kijkt deze vrouw op leeftijd langs ons heen. Ze heeft een strooie hoedje met een breed gekleurde band. Over haar witte bouwen met bruine stippen heeft ze over beide schouders een felblauwe licht doorschijnende sjaal. Ze zit op een oude stoel die rechts nog net zichtbaar is.
