Though his sculptures have been shown internationally, these ones were in front of Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark on a dark, cloudy, and stormy afternoon in September 2011. That's why the sky above and behind the statues looks either stormy grey or a blueish grey. It makes the dark black colour of the sculptures look bolder against the pale background.
