Bournemouth have been off for three weeks. Arsenal are tired and banged up. It has really showed today.

Bournemouth well on top now. Arsenal all over the place trying to play out from the back. It's just inviting pressure. Home fans now very restless.
Arsenal currently can't play through Bournemouth's press and can't play it long, as Hill and Senesi just dealing with balls up.
There is a disconnect here between what Arsenal are trying to do (patient build-up play, move through the thirds, create a less open match) and what the home supporters want them to do.
I'd say it's very Arsenal I grew to love
After going behind, happy to go in level after a well taken pen from Gyokeres. Poor overall from Arsenal, there's no cohesion in the midfield 3, the wide players are peripheral, & everything is a struggle.
Feels/looks like a game where the players are feeling the pressure, but we have to do better
Max Dowman is going to score the goal that wins Arsenal the league.
Teams are back out.
Huge 45 minutes coming up for Arsenal.
That was Arsenal as a parody of themselves. Technical level of that XI is much too low (partially due to injury) and that means they don’t have much of a route to chance creation beyond forcing set pieces.
Lee Dixon with his first intelligent comment of the match. Peter Drury going on about "when was the last time Arsenal actually played well" and Dixon says "it's not about that at this point of the season, it's about getting over the line."
H/T: 1-1
That was a real struggle for Arsenal, who will go into the break thankful to be level thanks to Viktor Gyokeres' penalty. Bournemouth have looked dangerous and very well drilled. Their press has worked well and Arsenal have been edgy and really struggled to get anything going.
The worst part of it is that Arsenal will start fouling because they'll think they're adjusting to the way the referee is officiating the match.
And then he'll change the standard he has set.
Grim missionary-position Arsenal football played on fumes, this. We're watching human beings suffer on their march to glory. The mental test is now the greatest. Mind over matter. Drown out the noise. Either tumble into the abyss or peak the mountain, there is no in-between 😰
I hope we get over the line today and this season, but we got to improve the creative prowess of this Arsenal team in the summer.
Viktor Gyökeres does his usual celebration after equalising for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
18 - Viktor Gyökeres has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season - of players to debut for Arsenal in the Premier League era (from 1992-93), only Thierry Henry in 1999-00 (26) and Alexis Sánchez in 2014-15 (25) scored more in their debut campaign with the Gunners. Firing.
Halftime. 1-1. Bournemouth goal was poor defending and then ridiculously lucky.
Arsenal equalized from the penalty spot.
The Gunners look like a side playing without several important players. Which they are.
Penalty to Arsenal
This is the issue with officiating in the Premier League.
Ball kicked at a Bournemouth player's hand from point blank range; penalty given.
Absolutely no way does he give that decision at the other end against Arsenal at The Emirates for little old Bournemouth.
Unconscious bias + cowardice.
Arsenal have woken up a bit since the goal. Making some silly errors with the ball, but they are least playing the game more in Bournemouth's half.
A spanner in the works for Arsenal.
Junior Kroupi scores his 10th goal of the season to put Bournemouth ahead at the Emirates Stadium.
The last teenager to score 10 or more goals in his first season in the Premier League was Robbie Keane for Coventry City in 1999-00 (12).
Lee Dixon criticizing Arsenal for taking time on restarts. Hasn't had a word to say about Bournemouth doing it.
One of those two teams is wasting time to waste time.
Such a flat start by Arsenal, especially given the importance of the game, and Bournemouth deserve their lead. It feels like most of the match has taken place in Arsenal's half so far. The home crowd aren't happy with the amount of time Arsenal are taking over throw-ins.
