Doesn’t HE know? He’s been on council longer than Chow has.
Waterfront East is definitely not downtown, but to Bradford’s point, most suburban 416ers will think the area is downtown anyways.
I would like Cllr Holyday to point to Nightstar Rd on a paper mask without the help of Google.
Poet laureate Lillian Allen, whose term is ending soon, reads a poem. This part stood out, given the venue:
"Homelessness, that is our little scar / That part split off / Lost, hiding, frightened, bruised / Too tired to fight / Or resolve too soon / Just needing a way back to the promise"
Once again, I never want to hear that isht that Durant would’ve helped the Warriors beat the Raptors in 2019. Based on what information since?
That’s the second timeout given to a player/team without possession in as many nights. Happened to the Raptors last night, too.
My guess is that it’ll be closer by committee for the next little while, which will include Hoffman, but he’ll only get 3-run lead chances. (I know these have been ick too, but if they give him shots, it’ll be in the safest save situations.)
But John Schneider will give Hoffman another chance, I’m betting. (Look, I get that a shooter’s gotta keep shooting, but Hoff’s gotta find it again in lower impact situations.)
The guy should be Braydon Fisher for the next little while. Varland and Tyler Rogers should keep their current roles.
I’m not sure I want Louis Varland as the closer for the Blue Jays. He’d be amazing at it but he’s so good that he’s better deployed in higher leverage situations earlier in the game.
Well that was the most efficient save in baseball history, eh? #bluejays
I’m just happy that Schneider isn’t pushing it. Hooked him, as he should.
This was pretty nifty.
I see that the great purveyors of free speech are still holding strong.
Outside of journalists, I can’t fathom why anyone is still there.
Carlos Delgado used to ride his bike to the dome. And Sam Mitchell used to walk to/from his place on Queen’s Quay, when he was Raptors coach. Both of which I found to be pretty cool.
I look forward to celebrating V-gers first light-day!
If Ford says “inundated” you can be pretty sure he’s making it up.
I mean, at least, ask him why he thinks what he thinks. Why he thinks holding a reserve of oil for the U.S. for a tariff relief that will be gone anyways when Trump is, is more valuable than *just selling the oil*?
LETS GO! Toronto used to be the greatest hot dog city in the world. Of course it was Mel Lastman who killed it. A LOT less people lived downtown then, so the suburban councillors killed what their constituents complained about? Even if they ate from those very carts (ballgames, work, nightclubbing)?
😬😬😬
they made an Indian villain in X men and named him Vindaloo, whats next, a Palestinian hero named Hummus?
Airbus has just demoed and successfully tested Airspace U Suite, an accessible seating and securement system that would allow wheelchair users to remain seated in their own mobility devices while flying.
Canada building up a reserve of minerals for America just in case they go to war is the nuttiest thing I’ve heard today.
Ahh, the ol’ “premier of the people” who some insist “just gets us” thinks that the “scary plane” is just for the plebes of Ontario, not him.
Told ya, he doesn’t get it. Still thinks it’s about timing or better pitch. I can all but guarantee that he believes “if the premier does it, it’s not wrong”
I dunno, I hope so but this voting isn’t as strong as I expected for Barnes. I can see him being hosed out of 1st team.
Chet over Scottie Barnes is crazy town. Anyways, congrats to wemby.
These are good teammates.
He’s right. You don’t see him really slump.
I should add there were a couple or three UGLY calls from the refs that all go Cleveland’s way…Harden’s forearm, the clap in Barnes’ face should’ve been a tech, the timeout given to Spida led to a bucket. That’s a +8 to the Cavaliers.
