This was not too popular back in 2022 when I wrote it, but some folks have come around.
One lingering piece of the Haslam ownership group is history of ignoring sexual abuse cases against Deshaun Watson under their ownership of the Cleveland Browns.

It is largely expected that the NWSL will announce that Columbus has landed an expansion team.

Yeah. There was a lot wrong there. Plus the offside was pretty weak and I didn’t think conclusive evidence to overturn.

The offside was pretty bad too. Not sure how they had any sort of conclusive evidence.
So if Carolina wins this game on the penalty shot, the penalty to give the shot technically happened after the game ended because offside came before the penalty.

Columbus City council has voted in favor of the proposal to bring the NWSL to Columbus.

Council President Shannon Hardin about the closed door deals with NWSL bid ownership that did not include the council.
They voted on something else. They are talking through now.

The kids' letters are COOKING
Columbus city school teacher Kelsey Gray brought 61 letters from her students for every council member to talk about what they learned looking through the situation in class.
