I was SO thrilled when Laya turned that in, it matches my dream of what Denver could be exactly

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to getting a book out there that tells teens what's possible. Some of what I write is speculative, but the stuff in the infographics could be done next year. Especially right now, kids need to know bad things aren't inevitable.
These are absolutely GORGEOUS!
oh these are awesome!

A few #solarpunk infographics from the back of my upcoming book. This is from a kid-friendly informational section and dictionary at the end of the novel, showing how a positive future could work. Check the comments for a little website character art from Kel Carter!
Here's a few more of those infographics :D These will be part of a kid-friendly guide to solarpunk terminology in the back of the book.
#HopePit Art Share Day!
I'm home from work, and now I can dive in!
Coming from Blue Feathered Quill this November, The New Deal Book 1 is an illustrated #solarpunk book. @layahimalaya.bsky.social did most of the art for the book, and I illustrated some fun infographics for the back. Enjoy!
You can find my stuff over at

#Hopepit #EarthDay hey everybody!
Green industry person here! Writing green folklore under my own name, out-of-dystopia and solarpunk as O.E. Tearmann. Planting water-wise out West. Finding hope in small daily acts.

Absolutely! And thanks for sharing your resources, I can't wait to dive in :D
For others interested in this line of research, this book is my current gold standard
At our house, this is called collaborative research.

I'd love to see more research on this and some feasibility studies. The dream of it is beautiful.
Perfect! I'll watch these both today.
Oh now THIS is what I'm looking for. Thanks much!
Appreciate it, cheers!

Funnily enough, I found another one lately. Prairie. I spell it as prarie almost every time.
I mean...it's an ill wind?
Still makes me a little sick to see headlines that imply this war isn't stopping next week. Not that I think they're wrong...I just wish this wasn't happening.
I hear you. The number of times I've very carefully sounded out the word 'tongue' or 'Wednesday' are worrisomely high...
Hey #artists and #creatives,
I'm switching publishers, and that means contracting for new #CoverArt. Themes: playing cards, found family, scrappy this-is-how-we-get-out-of-dystopia, 80s rock vibes. If this is you or you know somebody who it is, drop your contacts in a reply! Extant art for vibes.
Really looking forward to catching back up with the crew for Min.!
Oh my gods I choked on my tea laughing. Well played!
Thanks, I'll add these to my research resources.
Amazing, that's just what I need ๐
Could you be more specific and list books or websites?
Thanks for the feedback and the thoughts. That view doesn't really match the research I've done to date, but if you have resources you'd like to recommend I'd love to read them.
