A set of five digital sketches of critters. They're all very loosely done, with colours overlapping the edges, and visible initial sketches and imperfect lines. All of the critters are semi-anthropomorphic animals, standing on their hind legs. From left to right and top to bottom, they are: a european badger, standing with its front paws in a "t-rex pose", with the notes "Badger!", "White face", "grey back", "dark tummy" and "lighter tail" around it; a very rotund hedgehog, sat down with its back legs sticking straight out, with the notes "Hedgehog!", "lighter face, darker nose", "lighter underneath", "dark spines with light tips"; a very cheerful looking pink axolotl, grinning widely with their hands on their cheeks, with the note "Axolotl!" above it; a very polite looking armadillo, with it's plates rendered as rows of bumpy lines, with the note "Armadillo!" above it; and an elephant shrew, with it's arms spread wide and its nose held high - it has a red head, a black body, and its nose, ears, limbs and tail are all pink - with the note "Elephant Shrew! (Black and rufous)" next to it. In the centre at the top is handwritten text that reads "Critter practice by IllustratedJai" with a little smiley face with a set of bumps coming out of its forehead.
A set of three digital sketches of critters. They're all very loosely done, with colours overlapping the edges, and visible initial sketches and imperfect lines. All of the critters are semi-anthropomorphic animals, standing on their hind legs. At the top is a hippopotamus standing with its hands on its hips in a sassy sort of a pose, with the note "Hippo!" next to it. On the left at the bottom is an otter, drawn with a very small head and very wide hips, and very very long whiskers, with the note "Short claw otter!" above its head. On the right at the bottom is a pigeon - this one is the loosest drawn of them all, and the colours are a lot more blotchy and overlap the lines more. It is, of course, labelled "Pigeon!". Just right of the hippo at the top of the page is handwritten text that reads "More critters! IllustratedJai" with a little smiley face with a set of bumps coming out of its forehead.
#repostyourart - Day 20 - Critter
I've been saving these bad boys up for today! There's only a few prompts that I knew in advance what I wanted to do with, and this was one of 'em (the folder these guys sit in is called "Critters", even!)
