If you are doing procedural texturing, I think this can just look like taking your source noise/ slope blur source tiling waaaaaay down
A few small noisy spots in the normal map is okay but you want a lot of areas of rest
Biggest thing I think of between stylized vs realistic is frequency of detail. Realism tends to pack a TON of noise and detail in the normal map and pbr maps, with stylized you wanna decrease the normal/pbr intensity and also the scale / frequency of detail.
Been playing Pokémon Emerald again while on vacation and every time my Ralts tries to evolve the game says “huh, ralts stopped evolving” google has no idea why, other than “are u pressing B” and “is she holding an everstone”
