Big shout out to 1st author Svitlana Bach who completed these expts while a postdoc in our group, building off of work from her first postdoc building Crispr tools to manipulate the rodent Bdnf locus to investigate function.

This project started well over a decade ago (I actually did bench work here!) when we noted the presence of these divergent transcripts in the human BDNF locus. Project had a lot of stops and starts, but really excited to finally get to share it ๐ง ๐งช๐ฉโ๐ฌ
