He is covered in heavy orange cloths and extremely intricate, burnished gold and brass armor. Even his toes are armored, with large pieces of candelabras, lanterns, clocks, and chandeliers making up his armor. His face is covered with a three-part theatrical mask, obscuring his own expressions; instead, a frown and a grin can be seen. His large pontifical headpiece and pauldron are covered in melted wax and burning candles.
