I open to queries tomorrow! But only to self-published Adult projects looking to exploit their retained subsidiary rights. See my personal website for more specific information and guidelines. I will open more widely later in 2025.

It's so true! It takes a lot of time and space, as well as discipline/ability/privilege, to shut out the rest of the world. π«
Same for me! I really need the time and space to properly write and edit, and then get ready to query. What a gift that would be. #kidlitchat
I love the ossuary trip! I sincerely hope it happens for you.

Holy cow! I think I found my top read of the year. I'm about 1/3 of the way through 'Alebrijes' by Donna Barba Higuera (no spoilers plz!) and am already blown away. I'm thoroughly engrossed, but also can't stop thinking about how Higuera did what she did. Who else loves it?

That's my jam, too! π I'm always the weirdo "auntie" who gives books no matter the age or occasion.
Ahhh here's hoping it's the ticket π«£
Oh good. So glad to share the love.
Thank you so much Linda! Really appreciate the support βΊοΈ
Omg right?!?! I really appreciate the different POVs I can get on my work. I think for the next round, though, I need to look to MG writer peers who could push me more (lovingly).
Thank you #kidlitchat for the prompt.
The last three months I have been in progress on my MG book Draft 2, but got stuck so I called in another reader and have a new approach to revisions.
So that means the next three months will hopefully lead me to a complete second draft. π€
Fab!
Also, I adored 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' and the sequel just came out, so could be a good time to pick that up.
What about either 'Legends & Lattes' or 'Bookshops & Bonedust' -- very cozy queer fantasy.
Or are you looking for another speed?
I love the work of Nicola Griffith, who spans sci-fi and fantasy (often historical-fantasy at that), always with badass queer characters.
