#ShowMeYourKnits this week is cowls. I must admit I have only made 3 cowls (so far) - this is the latest, made for #ScrapAlong2026 using up some leftover chunky wool - classic on one side, a bit crazy on the other 🧶

This is spectacular, thank you so much for sharing (also, 2mm needles?! I would love to make this but I fear I’d be knitting it until Christmas!)

If you can find her Lullaby Knits book I would really recommend it, there are so many lovely patterns in there

#ShowMeYourKnits week 89 is cables - I decided to dig out the Knitted Cable Sourcebook by @norahgn.bsky.social to make a scarf (might have enough wool left for a hat too, all being well, there is a great cloche pattern in the book) 🧶

I’ve not done much embroidery, if I’m honest, I tend to do more tapestry and cross stitch. These were pretty straightforward though - only three stitches to learn and the fabric is pre-printed with all the outlines

Thank you, I think I will hang them on the wall

Second embroidery kit is done (and the French knots are a bit tidier than on the first one!) #embroidery

I am so bored of these “not your grandma’s…” articles. Every 6 months the Guardian runs one too, extremely annoying and inaccurate every time!
