it’s been almost two months, and given everything that’s happened with the girls in the last month, it hasn’t given us the space to continue to grieve and heal with our new babies. it’s been really traumatic actually, and my heart breaks missing flynn and it breaks for our girls’ situation

esp bc mira is still symptomatic
the main reason we sent in the test is to find out if the girls ever even had coccidia in the first place since the free clinic SUCKED and lied abt so much plus both girls got an all clear at our actual vet (who’s excellent) after only one round of treatment which isn’t super typical
in all seriousness, we are SO anxious for mira’s test results to come back this week so we can figure out once and for all what’s been going on with our babies. we are hoping for an all clear and that her residual symptoms are just from gut imbalance or a virus

**for anyone new here the girls were adopted one week ago today and one of them came home w coccidia unbeknownst to us at the time of adoption
should she have had to go to EV to get her meds if the vets at that awful place had just done their jobs? no. but it was worth it to us to get the girls medicated on the same day so we can be rid of this parasite for good!! my poor babies :((
