Meta is killing the Metaverse and laying off 15,000 workers. I wrote about why they might be investing in this boondoggle a couple years back at peak Web 3. Sometimes the mass of capital gets so large and stagnant the best thing to do is set it on fire…

A ★★★★★ review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) I feel like I’ve known of this movie forever, but I’m glad I waited to watch it until now.  It’s basically a Socratic dialogue about how to live an actualized life and be spiritually in touch in a rat...

The lazy, and frankly offensive, conflation of demanding Israel follow international law with anti-semitism was just roundly rejected at the ballot box. New Yorkers (at least registered Democrats) aren’t buying it! Your audience deserves better!

Please consider this remedy. Thanks from Bed-Stuy!

Further, it may be worth informing your audience that AIPAC, who opposes this legislation, was @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social’s top donor from 2019-2024.

NY State Assembly Bill 2025-A6101 Establishes the "Not on our dime!: Ending New York funding of Israeli settler violence act" to prohibit not-for-profit corporations from engaging in unauthorized support of Israeli settlement activity...

I’m sure the sponsor of the Senate version of this bill @jabaribrisport.bsky.social would be thrilled to join you to answer your questions and your audience’s questions about its aims.

Given that your program aims to inform New Yorkers, it seems offering an on-air correction, and an in depth exploration of the actual substance of the bill mentioned and what it hopes to accomplish would be a reasonable follow-up.

At 1:00 a.m. over on Twitter, Cuomo/Trump-backing billionaire Bill Ackman announced a new strategy to take out Zohran: recruiting an ambitious centerist for a write-in campaign. I sincerely hope they pour a ton of money into this plan.

My good friends—who certainly have my best interests in mind—Mike Bloomberg, DoorDash, and the Trump donor who attacked Harvard for being woke and is currently cheering on war with Iran sent me some informative mail. Unfortunately I already voted early for @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social Whoops!
