Placeholder assets in a game should look obnoxiously temporary, so obvious that no one would mistake it for the final asset. In past games we've used the doge dog (rip) as an icon, hot pink versions of characters, our CEO's head, etc.

If you use a temp asset that seems passable, it may stay there.

If you were someone pinging critics with ‘it’s just lighting cleanup’ a few days ago, I need you to use this as a jumping off point to thinking about your susceptibility to talking points and marketing rhetoric more generally. It was right there in front of all of our faces.

The "developer control" is even worse than I thought. There are only three "controls":
1. Intensity, ie alpha blend between the original image and the yassified version
2. Color grading
3. Masking, to exclude elements from the effect altogether

That's it! Yassify or die, losers!

I downloaded the apk from Github (& earlier via Obtainium), but it's showing an error when trying to install - App not installed as package appears to be invalid.

(Wasn't sure whether to create a Github issue for this, hence asking here, sorry!)

I've been meaning to take a look at freemocap for quite some time. Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the training data listed somewhere ? I couldn't find any at a quick glance.

Were you able to install it through Obtainium ? It showed 'Some errors occured - Invalid [heron]'. Maybe the apk is not compatible with my device architecture ?
